MCT Digital has released V2Pack, a midlevel flatbed cutter geared toward package prototyping, short-to-medium-run package printing, and P-O-P display production. Available with 63-, 98-, and 126-in.-wide cutting areas in lengths up to 189 in., the cutters include TigerPack parametric software, a nonautomated option for prototyping, plus board feeding, conveying, and offloading for short-run packaging. Running at a speed up to 78 in./sec., the V2Pack features a heavy-duty creasing tool for triple-wall corrugated; Vision and 3D Packaging software integrated with Illustrator; Automatic Table Mapping; optional laser or router additions; and available upgrades to TigerPack Professional for full workflow automation.
