Anyone who works at a wide-format print shop can likely list off the myriad benefits and possibilities digital print can offer clients. But how many talk the talk and walk the walk, incorporating large format into their lives outside of work?

McNab aisleTanya McNab, creative director at Belize City-based McNab Visual Strategies, spends her days bringing her customers’ ideas and concepts to fruition, including wedding clients. When she began planning her own wedding, it was the perfect opportunity to integrate the wide-format graphics she works with on a daily basis into her special day. “I was able to have a lot of fun with it and bring to life anything I designed – yes, a dream!” she adds.

McNab designed a custom T-shaped floor graphic for a floating aisle nestled over a pool. “The aisle and the ceremony were the most important parts of the wedding to me,” McNab says. “That’s the most important moment,” which was made all the more special with a customized graphic emblazoned with the couple’s hashtag and color palette – the largest scale wedding project the shop has completed to date. “I wanted something that would pop in color and give off the energy of the wedding. The colors [for the floor graphic] were based on the actual floral palette.”

McNab Visual imaged the 720-square-foot wrap with a Mimaki CJV150-160 printer/cutter onto Starflex 15-ounce  vinyl. Guatemala-based Glam Events installed the floating pool structure and accompanying graphics in just six hours. The end result was a wedding straight out of a fairy tale.
