Massivit 3D to Use SGIA for American Premier of New 3D-Printing Solution for Visual Communication Applications

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies today announced that it will use SGIA Expo to publicly unveil its Massivit 1800 3D Printer on American soil. With a vast array of visually-striking 3D printed sign & display applications on its booth (#607), Massivit 3D will demonstrate how SGIA visitors can utilize 3D printing technology to unlock the door to new business with vibrant, eye-catching large format 3D displays for a wide variety of customers.

With its super-fast capabilities, the recently-launched Massivit 1800 3D Printer transforms the way high-level marketing, advertising & themed projects are created. Boasting unrivalled output speeds, the printer can produce premium quality 3D applications up to 1.8m / 6ft high. This enables print providers to extend their product portfolio beyond 2D printed projects, opening the door to new creative opportunities to drive profitable growth. With its competitive business proposition and vast applications gamut, this allows print providers to offer existing customers novel, innovative applications, as well as increase their ability to attract new trade.

Avner Israeli, CEO, Massivit 3D comments, “SGIA Expo is the ideal platform to demonstrate our 3D printing capabilities to the American market. Combining flexibility and speed with a competitive price point, print providers now have access to a wider creativity to enhance their competitive edge and secure their future.

“The Massivit 1800 enables print providers to produce stunning 3D graphics with the added-value of better target audience engagement. With recent studies suggesting that 3D advertising has five times the stopping power and four times the staying power of 2D advertising, it is clear why this is the technology for sign and display applications. The Massivit 1800 is THE 3D printing solution for print provider to refresh their product portfolio,” he adds.
Staff at large format user Carisma in Brooklyn, New York, are using the Massivit 1800 to produce a number of visually-striking 3D models for a number of blockbuster movies, including The Angry Birds Movie.

“Using the Massivit 1800 we produced a number of spectacular, larger-than-life Angry Birds bus models that were installed onto a number of double-decker buses in the run-up to the release of the movie,” says Moshe Gil, CEO of Carisma Large Format. “Initially we produced one 3D model to demonstrate our new promotional capabilities. Sony was immediately taken with the quality, scale and speed and they quickly increased its order. The Massivit 1800 has allowed us to increase our business opportunities and provide our customers with game-changing, engaging, high-quality applications at a competitive price.”

See Massivit 3D at SGIA Expo on stand 607, at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 14-16 September.
