Markzware Releases InDesign to QuarkXPress

Extension help printing firms handle incoming files

Markzware's newly released InDesign to QuarkXPress Xtension (ID2Q) provides a one-click way to convert Adobe InDesign files into QuarkXPress documents. Priced at $199, ID2Q helps printing companies that have built workflows around QuarkXPress accept jobs from the growing number of designers moving to Adobe InDesign.

The conversion process includes all document elements, including object positions, colors, fonts, text attributes, and images. It supports text runarounds on all sides on an object and Pantone? Hexchrome colors.

ID2Q works with Adobe InDesign v. 1.5 to 2.0 and QuarkXPress 4.1-5.x documents. It also can convert Windows InDesign files to Mac QuarkXpress. A demo is available on Markzware's website. (Markzware: www.markzware.com/id2q)
