Mactac Launches New Application Nation Website

Mactac has launched its new Application Nation website (www.theapplicationnation.com), created as an online community of news, information, trends, and ideas for graphics installers.

'Mactac's main objective with the creation and launch of the Application Nation website is to establish an online installation community to inform, inspire, and develop the installer community,' says Jason Yard, Mactac's marketing application specialist.

On the interactive website, visitors can become a citizen; seek other citizens; upload and share projects; and view, search, comment on, or create postings related to the industry. The site will also offer an 'Ask the Expert' section, featuring Q & As with users and experts. Functional benefits of the site include quick navigation to worldwide Mactac distributors, and a 'Wizard Builder' product database that enables users to select criteria for an install and then populates the correct Mactac products for the job.

Application Nation, launched in 2007, began as a comprehensive plan to expand customers' and installers' knowledge of digital media and installation techniques. Vehicle wrap training sessions were the first Application Nation education event.
