MACtac is making its products bigger”?literally.
Self-adhesive, calendered PVC vinyl
films, IMAGin JT5828 and JT5829, will now
be offered in 64- and 79-in. widths (originally
60 and 54 in.), and users can now
order the traditional 328-ft rolls or the
longer 656-ft rolls.

The new 64-in. rolls allow shops to
print two 30-in. standard King and Queen
bus posters side-by-side; the 79-in. roll is
the standard size for Viacom-approved
bus shelter posters. The larger roll widths
help customers reduce print time and
waste; the larger roll lengths increase efficiency
by decreasing roll change-outs.

IMAGin JT5828 and JT5829, vinyl
films with a permanent or removable
opaque acrylic adhesive, are designed
for short-term indoor and outdoor displays
(offering 2-year durability), and
can conform to flat or slightly curved surfaces.
Both are 3.7-mil white vinyls;
JT5828 has a matte finish and JT5829
has a gloss finish.

In addition, MACtac has developed a
new brochure/chart to help customers
choose the right media for their jobs. The
six-page brochure, available in English
and Spanish, provides detailed information
on MACtac product lines: IMAGin, MACmark,
Permacolor, and MACscreen. The
chart matches media with applications.(MACTAC: www.mactac.com)
