LexJet, DreamScape Team for 'Best Mural,' 'Most Unique Application' Competition

LexJet and the DreamScape Division of Roysons are sponsoring a contest with awards for 'Best Mural' and 'Most Unique Application' using Dreamscape material by a LexJet customer.

The Best Mural will be judged by DreamScape on overall quality (color and execution), installation (size, complexity, and execution), and image creativity. The Most Unique category includes anything from a photographic mural to an advertising graphic, 'and everything in between. For this category, the judges are looking for uses other than wallcoverings. The design and application must work together and complement the goals of the project,' the companies report.

Winners in each category will receive a $1000 store credit at LexJet for DreamScape materials. The deadline is Oct. 31, 2007. Details are on the LexJet and DreamScape websites.

In addition, LexJet has announced the availability of free ICC profiles for FLEXcon’s line of imaging products for wide-format digital printing technologies. Printers profiled for the FlexCon materials include the HP 9000, Mimaki JV3 160SP and JV3 75SPII, Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor and Toucan LT, Roland SolJet SC-545 and VersaCamm SP300v, and the Seiko CP64s. Each profile is optimized for use with the Flexi, Onyx, Wasatch, and Roland VersaWorks RIPs.
