Lexjet Assumes Sales and Support of Michelman Digital Press Primers and Overprint Varnishes

Michelman has transferred responsibility for sales and support of its line of digital press primers and overprint varnishes in the US and Canada to LexJet.

LexJet has increased sales and customer-support staff in anticipation of the agreement. The company is also implementing an online ordering system to better serve customers, and will be adding strategically located warehouses to improve delivery time and cost, the companies report.

“Michelman enthusiastically welcomes LexJet as a channel partner for the United States and Canada for our digital product portfolio,” says Ginger Cushing, business manager Michelman Americas, Flexible Packaging. “Their complementary product lines, sales expertise, and energy will help Michelman grow rapidly in this important market segment. I am excited to work with the LexJet organization toward servicing our digital customer’s needs.”

Michelman digital press supplies now sold and supported by LexJet include: DigiPrime, Sapphire and Topaz primers; Michem In-Line primer for presses with inline priming units; DigiGuard overprint varnish; and Michem Indicator (which detects the presence of a Michelman primer on dry substrates). These products are designed for HP Indigo and other digital presses.
