NUR Macroprinters, headquartered in Israel, has announced some management changes in its Nur America subsidiary in San Antonio, TX. Nachum Korman, formerly president of NUR Europe, is now president of NUR America and Geva Barash has rejoined the company as vice-president of sales and marketing.

Nur's wide-format inkjet printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market are used by customers in more than 100 countries.

Korman, previously with Scitex Corp., joined Nur in 1999 as head of its Middle East and Africa division. He became vice-president of Nur Europe in July 2000 and has been serving as president since January 2001.

Barash, who left Nur before US operations moved from Boston to San Antonio, has held posts with Idanit USA, I-Ray Technologies, and Ultraflex Systems.

According the Nur president and CEO David Amir, the realignment of the US management team represents a shift toward stronger subsidiary operations with a renewed focus on service to customers in the Americas. He says, “Korman is an integral member of the Nur global management team and is widely credited with developing a strong sales and service organization for Nur in Europe where customer care has been a major focal point. Barash has extensive experience in our marketplace from previous stints with Nur America and has worked with Korman before. We look forward to having their strong leadership and direction at the helm of a reinvigorated Nur America.” (Nur America: www.nur.com)
