Kodak has upgraded its Prinergy Workflow automation software. Developments for the new version aim to increase control and automation across the printing process, including job creation, collaboration, file processing, trapping, proofing, imposition, and color management. Enhancements include:
• Preflight+, which automatically checks and corrects files before they enter production;
• Layered PDF versioning with an error detecting option;
• Centralized control over digital and conventional presses and equipment;
• Ability to integrate with current, future, and third-party technology;
• And rules-based automation of multiple devices while monitoring and reporting the status of each.
