Kodak has upgraded its prepress software, Insite Prepress Portal 7. Now built on HTML5, Insite no longer requires a Java platform, allowing customers secure access with reduced need for technical support, the company reports. The platform’s new Smart Review interface automatically tracks job submissions, change requests, and approvals or rejections, alerting customers and prepress staff of potential problems. In addition, Insite Prepress Portal 7 is now equipped to integrate Kodak Prinergy Workflow automation software.
