Eastman Kodak has completed the acquisition of NexPress Solutions and Heidelberg Digital from Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. In addition, the company has completed the purchase of NexPress GmbH, Heidelberg's German subsidiary. The planned acquisitions had been announced in March of this year.

The acquired companies will be operated as a combined business unit under the management of Venkat Purushotham, president and CEO of Nexpress Solutions. The sales and service organization will consist of three regions: Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Africa, and the Middle East region (EAMER). Kodak has hired more than 350 sales and service personnel from Heidelberg's market centers to form the direct sales and service organizations for the NexPress 2100 and Digimaster product lines.
