Keundo Technology has debuted its new
SupraQ 3300F grand-format printer. Featuring
a flatbed option, the 4- or 6-color
(CMYKcm) SupraQ 3300F was introduced
at FESPA and is shipping in September of
this year. The piezo solvent inkjet printer
with 12 Spectra SL128 printheads can
handle media up 0.78 in. thick and up to
128 in. wide, with boards limited to a maximum
size of 48 x 96 in.

The 3300F offers resolutions up to 400
x 800 dpi and four roll-to-roll print modes
(super draft, draft, production, and HQ). Its
maximum speed is 1248 sq ft/hr at 300 x
200 dpi, while at 400 x 800 dpi, it can generate
speeds of up to 334 sq ft/hr. It can
print in roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet, and sheet-to-
sheet formats onto a variety of media
including PVC banner, self-adhesive vinyl,
backlit flex, mesh, textiles including canvas,
and rigid solvent-printable board.

The printer's flatbed
option comprises
roller tables
with dryer and media
feed. The RIP is also
optional: Keundo
Onyx Driver or Onyx
ProductionHouse. In
addition, the 3300F
features 1-gallon (3.5-
l) ink tanks per color,
an ink-level controlling system, automatic
head cleaning system, central ink and
heater monitoring system, self-printing
automatic feeding/takeup for unattended
printing, and a Capping Station to protect
printheads and decrease head maintenance.
The 3300F also features an open-air
design, unlike the Keundo SupraQ 3300,
which has an enclosed venting cabinet.

Price, not including RIP, installation, and
freight: SupraQ 3300F 4-color, $125,000;
SupraQ 3300F 6-color, $150,000. The
flatbed option costs an additional $25,000,
including roller tables with dryer and media
feed. Optional RIP is $1995. Keundo is distributed
in North America by ACCI. (Keundo: www.keundo.com; ACCI: www.goacci.com)
