Jetrion Announces Its Leadership Team

Focuses on practical applications of digital printing

Founded by Flint Ink, Jetrion is a new company formed to provide custom high-performance inkjet printing solutions for use in commercial printing, converting, packaging, direct mail and other industries.

The new company is headed by Dr. Kenneth Stack, who previously was responsible for global market and product development for Flint Ink's Digital Divison. He joined Flint Ink after working for Eastman Kodak, where he most recently was director of its professoinal inkjet printing systems business.

Stack recently announced a leadership team that he believes can deliver integrated suites of continuous inkjet and drop-on-demand products and services to OEMs, printing companies, and converters worldwide. The duties and background of Jetrion's executive team members are described below:

Gary Swager, vice president of Integrated Solutions: Swager oversees the sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacture of custom integrated solutions. His 30+ years of senior management experience includes management positions at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center, Versatec, and Interactive, Inc.

Paul Edwards, technical director: Edwards is responsible for developing ink platforms, technology and strategy and directs product qualification and resource allocation. Before joining Jetrion, he was a fluids group manager at Domino UK in Cambridge, where he acquired knowledge of ink-formulation requirements for drop-on-demand, continuous inkjet, and binary inkjet printers.

Sean Skelly, director of product management: Skelly will analyze the marketplace for new product ideas and managing the global positioning for all of Jetrion's products. Previously, Skelly worked at Eastman Kodak Company in manufacturing, software development, R&D, information technology and business unit management.

Dean Haertel, director of sales: Haertel will organize Jetrion's sales force and develop and implement market strategies. He previously worked as sales manager for the Americas for Xaar America.

Jason Oliver, direct of sales and marketing of integrated solutions: Oliver is responsible for overall corporate positioning, branding and identity. His previous experience includes a stint as Director of Scitex Digital Printing's Systems Group, in which he was responsible for the company's VersaMark product line. He has also been involved with Digital Alliance LLC, Chromas Technologies, Didde Corp., and Webtron Corp.

Brad Scott, manufacturing manager: Scott manages the manufacturing the delivery of all digital ink products, the implementation of statistical process control, and the scale-up of new products from the lab to production. Scott has worked with Flint Ink for the past 17 years.
