ISA, the International Sign Association, is seeking entries for its 2009 Sign Design Competition. The competition will judge signs in three categories: commercial/electric, traditional/historic, and architectural/sign systems/wayfinding. In order to be eligible, signs must have been designed and installed in 2008. Entries must be submitted by January 19, 2009 for consideration.

“Signs are more than marketing tools – they are also art,” says ISA president and CEO Lori Anderson. “This contest acknowledges the aesthetic appeal of well-designed signs and validates the efforts of the talented artists and designers working in our industry.”

Winning signs will be displayed at ISA’s 2009 International Sign Expo in Las Vegas, April 15-18, 2009. The grand prize winner will score $2000 plus domestic round trip tickets and hotel accommodations for two to attend the Sign Design awards ceremony in Las Vegas. The first prize winner in each category will win $500.

Entry fee is $75 per entry. For contest rules and entry form, visit the ISA website.
