Inca Increases Spyder Speed

No charge for speedier software upgrade

Inca Digital Printers has ramped up the
speed for the Spyder printer. In its new
faster print mode, the Spyder can now
print graphics suitable for longer viewing
distances at speeds up to 860 sq ft/hr at
600 x 600 dpi in 3-pass mode. There will
be no charge for a software upgrade for
the speedier mode.

In addition, Inca reports that it is now
taking orders for the new Spyder 320-S
with a 6-color inkset (CMYKcm) and with
white ink. Prices: Spyder 320 6-color
(CMYKcm): $455,000; Spyder 4-color
plus W, $455,000. Inca says it will be
releasing the 6-color and white machines
in Q2 2006.
