Inca Digital Printers has created a US subsidiary, Inca Digital Printers Inc., which is headquartered in Kansas City, KS. The US subsidiary will provide additional technical support and after-sales care to the US users group. The group will be managed by Steve Lynn, who moves from the UK technical service department to Sericol's Kansas City headquarters (Inca is distributed by Sericol in the US).

“Operating and maintaining inkjet technology is very different to the analog equipment familiar to most of our customers,” says Paul Anson, president of Inca Digital Printers. “Getting the best out of the equipment takes experience and knowledge. Steve and his team will be spending time working with customers, and working closely with the existing US service organization in North America to accelerate the learning process. We see this as a first step to increase our direct involvement in the US and gain a better understanding of our customer base.”

Inca is based in Cambridge, England, and employs more than 140 people. It has approximately 60 users of its Inca flatbed printers in the US. (Inca Digital Printers: www.incadigital.com)
