MS Printing Solutions S.r.l., a Dover Company and market leader in the design, development and distribution of innovative digital ink-jet printing systems and associated consumables, is pleased to announce that it will be showcasing its new Impres™ Soft Signage System at the upcoming SGIA 2017 from October 10-12 in New Orleans on the JK Group USA booth #2369.

The new Impres™ Soft Signage System is an integrated digital printing system that combines industry-leading printing hardware, software and consumables in the form of MS Printing’s digital printer technology, Caldera RIP software and JK Group digital inks. The result is a versatile, all-in-one digital soft-signage printing solution that can be used to produce dynamic POP advertising, brilliant backlit signs, striking flags and banners, and powerful exhibition and stadium graphics. The Impres™ Soft Signage System printers are available in widths of 1.8 and 3.2 meters and boast impressive features, including:

Kyocera Print Heads: Two (2) up to sixteen (16) dual-channel, 2,656-nozzle Kyocera print heads disperse precision ink droplets in picoliter (pl) sizes ranging from 4 to 72 over a four-inch-wide swath of fabric with every drop of ink uniformly controlled to fall exactly where it is intended, even at high production speeds

High-Quality, Cost-Efficient Inks: Impres™ series water-based dye-sublimation ink technology features a wide color gamut and improved output while meeting user demands for cost effectiveness and environmental sensitivity. Available for paper transfer printing or dual purpose transfer and direct polyester fabric printing.

Digital Front End: In addition to a built-in, touch screen control panel, the Qwizard DFE allows the management of the job queue to be embedded in the printer instead of the RIP, improving productivity through the reduction of printer idle time. Remote diagnostics allow the user to access the machine and perform control-panel functions through a web interface. This innovative feature gives the user the ability to interface directly with the printer, as well as remotely receive status updates, ink levels, print head information, and job logs.

Caldera® GrandRIP+ Software: Powerful RIP software from Caldera, a developer of software for wide-format imaging, business workflow and digital signage that was recently acquired by MS Printing’s parent company, the Dover Corporation, features a powerful Adobe PDF engine for faster file processing needed in high-volume digital-printing environments. The user-friendly interface supports multiple devices, has built-in color libraries, variable-data printing capabilities, advanced cropping tilting and nesting options, and embedded ICC ink-level adjustment support tools.
