Ilford Debuts Line of Professional Photo Products

Ilford has introduced Ilford Professional, a new line specifically designed for professional photographers. The line features photographic papers, heavyweight matt paper, display films, and self-adhesive vinyl. All products in the Professional line are compatible with thermal and piezo printers; the line is supported by Ilford Studio Professional Software.

* The photo papers include Glossy Photo RC and Pearl Photo RC. The 270-gsm, instant dry papers have a bright-white base tint.

* The matt paper has a weight of 190-gsm and a smooth finish; compatible with wide-format inkjet printers, it has a good ink-loading capacity.

* The film range includes 240-gsm portable display films and 190-gsm backlit display films; these are also compatible with wide-format inkjets.

* The 140-gsm self-adhesive vinyl product has a nanoporous coating, glossy surface, and is designed for indoor display applications.

Most of the media are available in 17- to 44-in. wide rolls; the portable display film is available only in 36-in.-wide roll.
