IJ Technologies’ Gloss Tyvek

IJ Technologies has developed Gloss Tyvek, a water-resistant media aimed at digital providers using aqueous pigment inks. This new addition to the company’s Black Diamond line of media features a high-gloss finish, excellent handling characteristics, and rapid dry time, the company reports. In addition, Gloss Tyvek is recyclable (at centers that recycle flexible high-density polyethylene or HDPE products).

The new media is available in rolls (24-, 36-, 42-, 44-, 50-, and 54-in. widths) and in sheets (sheet sizes are custom orders). Compatible with Canon Lucia, Epson UltraChrome K3, and HP Vivera inks; compatible with various Canon, Epson, and HP printers, as well as Mimaki and Roland models.
