HP has announced that the mobile app for its HP Latex 300 series is now available for free download from Google Play and the Apple App store. Features include alerts, status updates, and job monitoring.

Users can check on printer activity, ink and media levels, job completion and history, and more. The app will also alert users to situations in which the printer is not ready for a job, such as supply shortages or substrate path issues.

Compatible with HP Latex 310, 330, and 360 printers. A tablet version of the app will be made available in mid-2015.
