Hollanders ColorBooster textile printer,
which premiered at the end of 2003, has
been updated with a new color-management
workflow. The new system uses
standard ICC-conversion, independent
image and vector paths, and ink- and
input-channel formulations.

The 90-in. ColorBooster directly prints
onto polyester and other coated/uncoated
textiles utilizing an open ink system. The 8-
color water-based disperse inks are stored
in 5-l tanks. Hollanders has identified a
selected list of inks that
offers the best compatibility
and running features.

The printer boasts resolutions
up to 2880 x
2880 dpi, unattended
printing capabilities, and
speeds up to 861 sq ft/hr.
