Hexis USA recently announced two new
media for its inkjet product line: V870PE
and V209TH.

V870PE is a 6.8-mil self-adhesive
polyethylene film for pigmented inks.
Although uncoated, its surface has been
cleaned and it has a slight grain to “trap”
the ink. The film has a luster finish and is
compatible with a wide range of piezo and
thermal inkjet printers. It offers 2-year
outdoor durability with cold lamination.

V209TH is a 2-mil high-gloss vinyl
specifically designed for use with thermal-
transfer printers such as the Summa
DC3 and Gerber Edge. It features a solvent-
based acrylic adhesive and a clear
polyester liner that's resistant to rapid
temperature changes. When laminated, it
has an outdoor durability of up to 8 years.
Roll width is 51.5 in. (Hexis USA: www.hexisusa.com)
