Graphtec Goes Grand

Graphtec has expanded its SignJet Pro printer series with its new Baby Grand JS310-25ES 100-in. mild-solvent printer. Aimed at producers of indoor and outdoor banners, small billboards, and other large-format applications, the rollfed JS310-25ES utilizes eight Xaar printheads and 4-color (CMYK) printing.

With resolutions that range from 200 to 400 dpi, it features 10 print modes, which include settings for single/multi-pass printing and uni/bidirectional printing. It has speeds up to 296 sq ft/hr in draft mode to 81 sq ft/hr in Highest Quality mode.

Compatible with most solvent sheet and rolled media, the mild-solvent inks offer outdoor durability up to 3 yr outdoors. The JS310-25ES comes standard with a basic Graphtec SignJet RIP, but is compatible with popular RIPs, including those from SAi and Onyx. Other standard equipment includes 1000-ml ink tanks, motorized rear-loading media supply system, automatic front take-up roller to ensure even media tensioning during printing, pre/post heaters and drying fans, and low-ink supply detector.
