Graphtec's cutting plotters add an extra level of versatility to the creation of signs and display graphics. For example, Graphtec plotters can be used to contour-cut inkjet-printed display graphics or cut out paperboard box samples for package prototyping.

New users of Graphtec cutting plotters no longer have to buy and learn specialized, computer-aided signmaking software in order to use the devices. With Graphtec's QuickCut? plug-in software, users of Corel Draw? and Adobe Illustrator? for Windows can directly output their designs to Graphtec's CE2000 48-in friction-feed , FC5100 wide-format or FC4200 flatbed cutting plotters.

Priced at $350, QuickCut controls curve quality, number of blade passes, knife offset, and custom head settings. Other features make it possible to place registration marks for aligning multi-layered designs and program multiple cut passes for processing hard and thick materials.
