Graphics One has introduced the GO EcoMax 44 printer, a 44-in. rollfed system designed to use the upgraded formulation of Sepiax water-based resin inks. Engineered for apparel transfers (and GO OT Stretch Transfer Film) as well as wide-format indoor and outdoor applications, the 4-color EcoMax 44 features an Epson MicroPiezo TFP printhead with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology, a top speed of 100 sq ft/hr, and resolutions up to 2880 dpi. Maximum media thickness is 1.5 mm.

The new Sepiax inks formulation uses no eco-solvent, no HAPs, no SVHS, and eliminates the need for an MSDS sheet, Graphics One reports. Coated and uncoated media can be printed.

Price: $9995, including an EcoMax RIP developed by Wasatch. A takeup system is optional, as is a contour cutter. Note: Graphics One indicates that a new white ink will be available for this system in the near future.
