Graphics One Announces GO Fuzion UV Digital Flatbed Printer

Graphics One has introduced its 87-in. Fuzion UV digital flatbed printer. Utilizing 30-pl Spectra 128 printheads, the 4-color Fuzion accommodates media up to 1.6-in. thick and offers printing speeds up to 248 sq ft/hr with resolutions up to 800 dpi. The flatbed can hold media up to 75 lb.

Built on a Mutoh Toucan platform, the Fuzion offers three speeds and resolutions: high-quality offers 400 x 800 dpi and speeds up to 62 sq ft/hr; production has a 400 x 400-dpi resolution and speeds up to 123 sq ft/hr; and high-speed at 400 x 200 dpi with speeds of 248 sq ft/hr.

Graphics One has developed GO Fuzion UV-curable pigment inks specifically for this machine. The printer features an auto refill system with 2-l containers.

The new printer comes standard with Wasatch SoftRIP and an electronic head height adjustment. Optional take-up and rewind equipment allows users to changes the Fuzion to a rollfed machine; it changes from flatbed to roll-to-roll in less than five minutes, reports the company.
