When used with pigmented inks
The Giclee Printers Association (GPA) has certified
Roland's six-color Hi-Fi JET Pro II wide-format inkjet printer with
pigmented ink as being qualified to produce TruGiclee fine-art
reproductions. The GPA has also approved Roland pigment ink, Roland
Concord Rag fine-art paper, BullDog NIJ and NIJ Matte canvas and BullDog
Ultra coating.
The GPA's TruGiclee emblem assures art buyers that inkjet
art reproductions match the original and will last for years. Other
wide-format inkjet printers certified by the group include the IRIS 3047
and two earlier-generations of the Roland printers: the Hi-Fi Jet and
eight-color Hi-Fi Jet Pro. The 1440 x 1440-dpi Hi-Fi Jet Pro II was
introduced last fall as part of Roland's faster Pro II series of
printers. (Giclee Printers Association: www.trugiclee.org)
