Glossy Canvas from Breathing Color

Breathing Color has added Brilliance Chromata White Glossy inkjet canvas to it line of fine-art media, a complement to its Brilliance Chromata White matte canvas. Designed for high-end fine-art reproductions, the 20.5-mil bright-white canvas is a poly-cotton blend that is free of optical brightening agents (OBAs) and fluorescent whiteners. The canvas can be used with both pigment- and dye-based inks.

Compatible with water- and/or solvent-based varnishes such as its water-based Glamour II Veneer, Breathing Color reports a Dmax value of more than 2.20 when the canvas is post-coated and a Dmax value of more than 2.0 without any post-print coating.

Available in 17- to 60-in. rolls. Price: $77.95 to $274.95.
