By viewing a new CD tutorial, users of Onyx color-production software can quickly gain a better understanding of how wide-format inkjets fit into workflows for photo reproduction, color proofing, remote proofing, and screen-printing. Onyx Graphics is now bundling the Onyx 5.6 Multimedia Workflow Tutorial CD with the version 5.6 release of Onyx ProductionHouse, PosterShop?, and RIPCenter software.

“We recognize that a knowledge of available workflows is becoming more important in the wide-format printing environment,” says Don Feagan, general manager of Onyx Graphics. The tutorial was developed in partnership with the Graphic Intelligence Agency (GIA), an Akron, OH-based independent consulting company specializing in hand-on training in wide-format inkjet printing. Founded by Eric Harsh and Will Holland, the GIA offers classroom training in Akron, OH and San Diego, CA, seminars at national events, and on-site training and technical support.
