WHEN THE CINCINNATI Reds needed an eye-catching visual upgrade for Equity Park Stadium (the former Riverfront Stadium), they turned to a trusted partner of more than 25 years — GCI Digital. Owned by TJ Bedacht — also known as “The Banner Dude” — the team had just one week to complete a full wall graphic installation. They delivered the completed project with speed, precision, and premium materials from supplier Trigon Imaging, which carries the Photo Tex line.

“This was one of our longtime retail customers,” says Bedacht. “They gave us full freedom on the materials and execution, and we went all-in with Photo Tex with the help of our colleagues at Trigon— and the results speak for themselves.”

The project involved museum-quality wall wraps that spanned across various surfaces, including behind mounted TVs and around structural columns. The team printed four-foot-wide tiled panels for each wall, ensuring exact alignment and full coverage.

GCI used Photo Tex OPA (opaque) for the primary graphics, Photo Tex High Tack for smooth surfaces with higher traffic or tension, and Photo Tex Original for temporary directional and stainless-steel signage.

“These materials were a dream to work with,” Bedacht notes. “They print beautifully, cut cleanly, and remove with zero adhesive left behind. This is key when you’re installing in a high-profile, high-traffic venue like this.”

One major technical challenge? Printing consistent grayscale images at large scale — something that cannot be executed properly with many materials. But not Photo Tex. “Grayscale reproduction was spot on. That’s not always the case with other brands.”

With 24-hour stadium access, GCI’s crew worked overnight — after all other contractors cleared out — to get the job done without disruption. From wrapping walls around removed flat-screen TVs to installing graphics across multiple surfaces, the seamless results add striking visual energy to the stadium’s interior.

“This project highlights how the right material makes all the difference,” Bedacht adds. “We’re proud to support the Reds with graphics that inspire fans and elevate the space.”
