A smaller version of the StellarJet 250UV, GCC’s new 72-in. StellarJet 183UV is a flatbed with optional rollfed systems. Capable of handling materials up to 1-in. thick, the 183UV features four Konica 512KM printheads, 1-l ink tanks, and standard 4-color (CMYK) inks; white and varnish are optional.

The StellarJet 183UV offers 720-dpi apparent resolution; 1440-dpi resolution is an option. Armed with dual UV-curing lamps for bidirectional printing, the top print speeds are 431 sq ft/hr in 360 x 360-dpi mode, and 161 sq ft/hr in 720 x 720-dpi mode.

The 11-section vacuum bed allows precise media handling for a variety of sizes, and its releasable pinch roller and drum design makes insertion and handling of rigid materials easy. Its Semi-Auto Media Calibration system (S-AMC) features media calibration pins that automatically detect and gauges the distance between the media and printheads.
