Fujifilm Announces Proofing Products

Inkjet papers and remote driver for PictroProof II

Fujifilm has entered the proofing media
market with two inkjet proofing papers”?
a Glossy and a Satin“?designed to work
on the new Epson Stylus Pro inkjet proofing
devices. Both are available in rolls
100 ft long in widths from 24- to 44-in.
wide. The Glossy paper retails for $115
to $230; the Satin, $130 to $200.

In addition, the company has integrated
a Remote Director driver for its
PictroProof II color proofer. It allows
users to drive the device directly from
the Remote Director soft-proofing interface
without the need for an additional
RIP or other software, creating a hard
proof with the push of a button.

Fujifilm is co-marketing the new
Epson printers as the Fujifilm/Epson Stylus
Pro line, and is offering the 4800,
7800, and 9800. All of Fujifilm's products
are distributed through Enovation
Graphic Systems.
