Flora's Superwide HJII 5000

Flora Digital has introduced its latest
printer”?the superwide HJII 5000. The
16.4-ft printer uses Spectra Nova 256
printheads and a Photoprint4 Flora Edition
RIP.

The HJII 5000 offers the option of 4-
color CMYK or 6-color CMYKcm solvent-based
pigmented inks. Each 4-l ink reservoir
is refillable on-the-fly. It handles
roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet, and sheetfed
flexible media, as well as some rigid
sheets. It also offers speeds up to 1184
sq ft/hr at 180 x 180 dpi, and speeds up
to 861 sq ft/hr in 360 x 360-dpi high-quality
mode.

Other HJII 5000 features include:
automatic ink loading and flushing;
automatic media feed and take-up; a
digitally controlled heater and front-
mounted fans; and outdoor durability of
