Fisher Textiles' new line of wide-format fabrics for direct inkjet printing feature the company's patented pixelPerfect? coating for higher-resolution digital imaging on various textiles.

Suitable for flags, banners, and P-O-P displays, the fabrics work with the aqueous dye- or pigmented inks used in popular models of wide-format inkjets. The ink-receptive fabrics are formulated to dry instantly and require no post-treatment or special handling. According to Fisher Textiles' officials, printed fabrics can even be cold-water washed with no loss of color vibrancy.

PixelPerfect fabrics include a multi-purpose poplin, a matte satin for superior print quality, a batiste sheer fabric for adding three-dimensional effects to display graphics, and a heavyweight, outdoor-durable oxford.

Fisher Textiles offers sample booklets and free sample rolls for production tests. Technical support is also available.

Headquartered in Indian Trail, NC, Fisher Textiles is a well-established supplier of polyester-based and polyester-treated fabrics for dye-sublimation and also offers fabrics for output on grand-format, solvent-system inkjets. (Fisher Textiles: 800-554-8886, www.fishertextiles.com)
