Advanced Greig Laminators has released the AGL 54 film-to-glass laminator, engineered for applying optically clear films to a range of plate glass substrates. A redesigned aluminum in-feed table feeds the glass into a side registration with floating roller ball technology for scratch-free production, while an automated transducer tension control system prevents film distortion and necking, according to the company.

Additional features include a heated nip-roll design; cantilevered unwind and release liner rewind stations; a static elimination system; variable speed control; and an upper unwind film slitting system. Compatible with substrates up to 50-in. wide.
