FDC has introduced new intermediate calendered films: FDC 7247 and FDC 7270. Both of the calendered vinyls are compatible with solvent, mild-solvent, and UV-curable printers and are available in 30-, 54-, and 60-in. rolls.

* FDC 7247 is a 3.4-mil vinyl with permanent gray adhesive and offers 5-yr durability. The gloss or matte white media can be used for interior and exterior signage, decal name plates, and point of purchase displays. Matched with FDC 7010 overlaminate, it is recommended for use on flat surfaces with simple curves.

* The translucent FDC 7270 is a 3.2-mil matte white vinyl with a permanent adhesive that can be used in backlit signs both inside and out. Offering 5-yr durability, the company suggests adding FDC 71010, 7051, or 7090 overlaminate for protection against dirt, abrasion, and solvent. Applications include menu boards and point-of-purchase advertising.
