Eyelike Shows eMotion22

Jenoptik has introduced its latest camera
back”?the one-shot eMotion22. This 22-
Mpxl medium-format camera back offers
resolution up to 5344 x 4008 pxl and a
capture rate of 50 images/min. File sizes
range from 62 MB (one-shot, 24-bit color)
to 124 (one-shot, 48-bit color). It also
boasts low power consumption, and completely
revised housing and board design.

The lightweight eMotion22 is
designed for untethered portable use”?its
fully charged lithium-ion battery can
operate up to 2.5 hr. The eMotion22 has
an internal memory with a maximum storage
of 140 images; for extended memory,
photographers can use Compact Flash
cards. The eMotion also can operate tethered,
via a FireWire connection.

It offers a 48 x 36-mm CCD sensor, 2.2-
in. display with 18-bit color, and Eyelike
Capture Pro or Basic software (Pro/Basic
for OS X; basic software compatible with
Windows XP).

The Eyelike eMotion22 is available
starting in November. The retail price for
Europe is $22,900″??; the US price has not
