EuroTech Launches New Line of Printers

Turkey-based EuroTech has introduced
a number of wide-format printers. All feature
Xaar printheads, eight print modes
(from 1- to 16-pass modes), ColorGate
Production Server 4 Select, a take-up
system, and EuroTech Standard (1-yr) or
World Edition (2-yr) inks.

The company's series of 4-color Jetto
printers are all entry-level solvent printers,
and include 1.8-, 2.5-, and 3.2-m
models. The Jetto printers utilize Xaar
126 printheads and have Jetto Print Control
Software. The 71-in. JT1800 features
speeds from 66 to 194 sq ft/hr; the 98-in.
JT2500 features speeds up to 226 sq ft/
hr; and the 126-in. JT3200 offers speeds
up to 258 sq ft/hr. Prices: $18,000 to
$27,000.

The 126-in., 4-color Billboarder is a
medium-production printer with 16 Xaar
126 printheads, Billboarder Print Control
software, and speeds up to 301 sq ft/hr
in 4-pass mode. Price: $55,000. An 18-
printhead version is also available.

The open-frame 126-in.
features 6-color solvent inks and Xaar
500 printheads. It offers resolutions up
to 720 dpi, and, in 4-pass mode, offers
speeds up to 323 sq ft/hr. The X5 features
an auto printhead cleaning system,
and front and rear heaters and fans.
Price: $100,000.

The closed frame 126-in. Eurotech
Eagle X5 is available as a 4- or 6-color
model and features solvent inks, an
auto printhead cleaning system, and
front and rear heaters and fans, as well
as Eurotech Print Control software.
Equipped with Xaar 500 printheads, both
models feature speeds up to 1292 sq
ft/hr; the 4-color model offers resolutions
up to 360 dpi and the 6-color model
features resolutions up to 720 dpi. Price:
$110,000 (6-color version).

Plus, EuroTech is readying two additional
printers”?the S6 and S8. The 6-
color 126-in. Eurotech S6 will offer six
Spectra Nova256 printheads, resolutions
up to 720 dpi and print speeds up
to 430 sq ft/hr in 4-pass normal mode.
It will sell for $130,000. The Eurotech S8
will be a 197-in. 4-color model with eight
Spectra Nova256 printheads (two per
color) featuring resolutions from 180 to
540 dpi and print speeds up to 645 sq
ft/hr in 4-pass normal mode. It will sell
for $170,000.
