Enfocus Previews PitStop Automate

At Print 05, Enfocus previewed its new
PitStop Automate software, a PDF preflight
and auto-correction software built
on the company's PitStop Library that
the company is calling “a natural upgrade
for PitStop Server and complementary
companion to PitStop Professional.”

PitStop Automate offers PDF editing
and preflight, and also provides an automation
functionality that allows for file
sorting and conditional workflows based
on file type, size, and other file or document
properties. In addition, it enables
the splitting of multiple-page PDFs into
many single-page PDFs and electronic
file delivery through FTP and e-mail.

Price: $5999. Mac version available
by Q1 2006; Windows version is scheduled
for first half of 2006.
