Rak Kumar, who has led the Raster Graphics team to its current state as the Oce Display Graphics business unit, believes that owners of higher-end digital printing systems may soon be able to choose from two or three ink options for their equipment. Considering the difficulty of engineering inkjet printing systems, he says it's unlikely that users of digital printing devices will ever be able to choose from the eight to 10 different ink options that offset and screen printers currently have available to them.
