Encad Announces Additions to Kodak Wide Format Line

Encad has announced new Kodak Wide
Format Media, including a Universal Backlit
film and six media in its new Kodak Production
line. The Production line is optimized
to provide high saturation indoor
display prints.

The 8-mil Kodak Universal Backlit
Film uses Kodak Duratrans display material
as its base and is compatible with
thermal and piezo printers as well as dyeand
pigment-based inks. Resulting prints
feature moisture resistance and quick
dry times, allowing for immediate take-up
and lamination.

Available in glossy and satin, Kodak
Production Photographic Paper is a
170-g photo paper for short-term indoor
graphics such as posters, photos, and
trade-show graphics.

Kodak Production Backlit film is a
7-mil film for short-term backlit applications,
with an inkjet coating designed to
provide exceptional saturation.

The 5-mil Kodak Production Reverse
Print Backlit film has a high-gloss base
surface, which improves the apparent
saturation of the image and provides for
excellent durability.

Designed for indoor display applications
requiring mounting on rigid substrates,
Kodak Production Self-adhesive
Poly Poster Plus is a 6-mil glossy or satin
media with a high-tack adhesive that
forms a strong permanent bond with various
substrate types. The 8-mil Kodak Production
Poly Poster Plus is an economical,
tear-resistant media with high color
saturation for long-term indoor and outdoor
displays; it's compatible with HP UV
inks and thermal printers with dye.

Available in glossy or satin, Kodak Production
Removable Vinyl features an
adhesive specially formulated to allow
repositioning during installation onto
walls, glass, or other permanent fixtures
for short-term indoor display applications
that require clean and easy removal.

In addition, Kodak's 260-gsm Premium
Rapid-Dry Photographic Paper is
now available in 8.5 x 11- and 13 x 19-in.
sheets.
