The ColorEdge CG220 display from Eizo
Nanao Technologies made its US debut at
Graph Expo. The 22.2-in. wide-format LCD,
first exhibited at Drupa, is geared toward
graphic designers, photographers, and
media professionals. Designed from the
ground up as an LCD, the ColorEdge
CG220 boasts a wide color gamut that
covers the Adobe RGB color space and
96% of NTSC (National Television System
Committee in North America) space,
beyond the standard sRGB space. Eizo's
intent is to boost the capability for monitor-
based (“soft”) proofing.

The ColorEdge CG220 also features:
14-bit calculation to produce 1021 tones
for red, green, and blue; a 1920 x 1200
resolution; the ability to display two A4-
sized documents (8.27 x 11.69 in.)
simultaneously at 100% size, with additional
room for a tool palette; and a thin
bezel and adjustable stand.

Eizo has begun mass production of the
ColorEdge CG220. MSRP: approximately $6500. (Eizo Nanao Technologies: www.eizo.com)
