EFI Publishes Free Proofing Handbook

EFI has announced the availability of a new handbook, “ABCs of Proofing,” the latest publication in the company's ABCs series. Available free via mail or download, the 22-page, full-color handbook provides print providers and their customers with critical information and guidance on proofing.

“In the fast-paced, competitive world of graphic arts, proofing is a dynamic and rapidly changing area of the business,” says Stefan Spiegel, senior product marketing manager, EFI. “'ABCs of Proofing' explains the basics of proofing and includes tips and hints about how to select proofing solutions that best meet your customers' evolving needs. It's meant to be a proofing primer for our customers, and their clients and employees as well.”

The handbook provides a detailed look at hardcopy proofs and the hardware, software and work processes required to make them effective. Soft proofing and monitor proofing are also addressed.
