EFI Announces Keynotes, Auction for Connect Conference

EFI announced Robert Tapella, CEO of the US Printing Office, and Joan B. Davidson, president of The Sheridan Group’s Sheridan Publications Services, as the keynote speakers at its 11th Annual EFI Connect users’ conference being held at the Wynn Las Vegas April 18-21.

Responsible for more than $1 billion in print-related revenue, Tapella will speak Sunday night, April 18, sharing his print-industry insights based on his experience overseeing production and distribution of information products and services for all three branches of federal government.

Davidson, recent chairman of the NAPL board and a NAPL Soderstrom Award winner, will discuss on Tuesday morning, April 20, her knowledge of operational efficiency improvements garnered over her years of print-industry experience.

EFI also announced its first Connect Auction live auction for the conference, taking place Monday, April 19, and featuring more than 50 items. Most items offered will have a small reserve—if any—and will include items from add-on software to consulting services to a new management system. A portion of the auction proceeds will go toward the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation.
