Duplica 3.0 XTension from Badia Software

Badia Software's Duplica 3.0 XTension for QuarkXPress 7 offers more than 80 attributes available to copy–including characters, paragraphs, pictures, boxes, lines, and pages. Users can choose the attributes they wish to copy, then use eyedroppers to sample and apply settings from one part of the document to another or even between different documents. Users can also copy text without style attributes. Duplica provides users with seven additional clipboards for retaining text and item styles; these clipboards are always available and can be recalled at any time. The Copy Special and Paste Special commands allow users to sample and apply the settings (for example, the XTension lets users copy the color, font, leading, and tabs of selected text and apply only those attributes everywhere).

Duplica also allows users to sample the shape, frame, and background color attributes of a box, and then paste those settings to a group of boxes with one mouse click. Even page and spread guides can be copy and pasted. With the XTension, users can clone any box or line using the built-in Clone feature; for example, users can clone a box increasing its frame width by 1 point with each duplication, resulting in cloned boxes with 2 pt, 3 pt, 4 pt, etc. frame widths.
