Dr. Graphix Imaging has introduced two new media: Solvent Tear Resistant Photo Gloss and Solvent Tear Resistant Photo Satin papers. Based on the company's TR51 inkjet media, both are 9-mil polypropylene-based and developed for piezo and Xaar printhead technologies and solvent inks. They're waterfast for indoor and outdoor display, and are biodegradable and ozone-friendly; plus, have built-in solvent de-odorizers to help reduce the smell typically associated with most solvent printers. While it has an instant-dry surface, the company suggests the printed graphics dry for 24 hours before lamination.

Both media are available in 2-in. core and 3-in. notched cores, and in widths of 42, 50, and 60 in. (up to 150 ft. in length). ICC profiles for select RIP and ink combinations are available at DGI's website.(Dr. Graphix Imaging: www.drgraphix.com)
