Digital Print Unleashes Lion Photo

Maryland-based photographer experiments with new wide-format concept.

Staring a South African Kalahari lion in the face isn’t an experience one easily forgets, so this photo seemed like the perfect opportunity for Lester Picker to test his new open-frame (glassless) concept. The 44 x 44-inch canvas was printed via an Epson Stylus Pro 9900 onto Moab Entrada and finished with Moab Desert Varnish.
