Dietzgen Adds to Magellan Media Roster

Dietzgen has expanded its Magellan line with 11 new bright-white media for wide-format aqueous printers. Compatible with dye- and pigment-based aqueous inks, most of the new products offer water-and scratch-resistance, and can be used for indoor/outdoor banners, indoor signs, and posters. New products include:

* A 15-mil 900 Scratch- and Water-Resistant Scrim Vinyl comprises tear-resistant polyester fabric sandwiched between white vinyl. It can be used on a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.

* The 8-mil 902 Water-Resistant PolyPro is a polypropylene film with a matte surface. Applications include trade-show graphics, signage, short-term outdoor graphics, and banners.

* 903 Water-Resistant PolyPro with Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive is an 8-mil polypropylene film with a permanent adhesive; for indoor and outdoor mounted graphics.

* The 10-mil tear-resistant 906 Water-Resistant Tyvek Banner features a matte coating and requires no lamination.

* 905 Water-Resistant Vinyl with Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive is an 11-mil calendared vinyl with a white opaque waterproof print surface and a permanent adhesive. It’s designed for short-term outdoor and long-term indoor mounted graphics.

* For both indoor and outdoor use, the 17-mil 908 Water-Resistant Scrim Vinyl Block-Out is a tear-resistant polyester fabric embedded between two layers of vinyl with a block-out layer and waterproof matte coating.

* The semi-sheer 6-mil 910 Water-Resistant Satin Cloth features a universal coating on the print side for banners, window shades, and backlit graphics.

* 912 Glossy PolyPro is an 8-mil glossy indoor polypropylene for indoor banner uses.

* The 8-mil 913 Glossy PolyPro Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive is a polypropylene with a permanent adhesive for mounted indoor graphics.

* 914 Satin PolyPro is an 8-mil semi-gloss indoor polypropylene for indoor banner applications.

* The 8-mil white polypropylene 915 Satin PolyPro Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive has a permanent adhesive and can be used to mount indoor graphics.
