DaVinci Technologies Launches Media Line

DaVinci Technologies, a division of High-Tech Conversions, has launched its own line of media. Most products in the line are compatible with aqueous dye and pigmented inks, as well as solvent inksets. The products include:

“? Banner media: 15-mil Smooth Scrim Matte Banner and 14-mil Economy Scrim Matte Banner are both flexible PVC materials; 8-mil Water Resistant Matte BOPP (Biaxially Oriented) polylpropylene; and 11-mil Blockout PE Water Resistant Matte Banner polyethylene. All banner media are compatible with aqueous and solvent inksets.

“? Photographic papers: 7-mil Premium Satin and Premium Gloss, and 8-mil Universal Satin and Universal Gloss are all compatible with aqueous inks only.

“? Pressure-sensitive vinyls: 4-mil Permanent Matte and Removable Matte Vinyl are compatible with aqueous and solvent inks, and 4-mil Permanent Gloss and Removable Gloss Vinyl are compatible with aqueous inks only.

“? Fine art line: 19-mil PolyCotton Blend Water Resistant Matte Canvas and 22-mil 100% Cotton Blend Water Resistant Matte Canvas. Both are compatible with aqueous inksets only.

Most of the new DaVinci media are available in rolls from 24 to 60-in. wide.
